Terms of Service

Fenixs.ai is a screenwriting platform. Feather is its editor; Persona, scenes and storyboards are the things you build inside it. When we say "the service" we mean all of that together, including this website.

By creating an account, or by using the trial editor without one, you accept these terms. If you are using Fenixs on behalf of a company or a production, you are confirming you are allowed to accept them for that organisation.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you are not, please do not use the service.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself. If you signed in with Google, that account's security is what protects your work here too.

Tell us as soon as you can if you think someone else has access. We can end active sessions for you.

One person, one account. Sharing a login is the fastest way to lose work — two people editing the same script from one account will overwrite each other.

Write what you like. Fiction is allowed to be dark, and a screenplay is not an endorsement of what its characters do. What we do not allow is using the service to produce material that sexualises minors, to harass or threaten a real person, to plan actual violence or crime, or to break the law where you are.

Do not upload work you have no right to upload, and do not use the service to impersonate someone else.

Do not attack the service itself: no scraping at a scale that degrades it for others, no probing for vulnerabilities without asking us first, no working around usage limits with multiple accounts or automation.

If you find a security flaw, please email us before telling anyone else. We would much rather hear it from you.

You own everything you write. Scripts, characters, notes, uploads — none of it becomes ours because you typed it here.

To actually run the service we need a narrow, practical licence: permission to store your work, to display it back to you and to anyone you share it with, to send it to the AI provider when you ask for a generation, and to keep backups. That licence exists only so the product can function, it is not exclusive, and it ends when you delete the content.

We do not use your scripts to train AI models, and we do not sell them.

If you publish a post or share a Feather with a public link, you are choosing to make that visible. A link that is hard to guess is not the same as a private one — treat a shared link as public.

AI output is a draft, not an answer. It can be wrong, it can be bland, and it can accidentally resemble something that already exists. Read it before you use it.

As between you and us, the output of a generation you paid for or spent quota on is yours to use. We cannot promise it is original or that it does not infringe someone's rights, because no one can promise that about generated text or images — that check is yours to make before you put anything into production.

The same prompt can produce different output for different people, and nothing stops another user's result from resembling yours.

We use third-party AI providers, and their processing may happen outside the country you are in. Which providers, and what leaves our systems, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Writing in Feather is free, and stays free. What is paid for is AI usage and the professional delivery features on top of it.

A subscription is billed for one month at a time and does not auto-renew silently in the background — you start each period deliberately.

Points are bought in packs and are spent on AI generation. They do not expire. A generation that fails returns the points it charged; a generation you simply did not like does not.

Prices are shown before you pay, in the currency you selected, and include any tax we are required to charge. Payment is handled by PayPal — we never see your card number.

If a payment is still pending with the provider, the order stays open until it settles or expires. Nothing is unlocked until the money has actually been captured.

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next period; the period you already paid for runs to its end.

Consumers here have a statutory 7-day right to cancel a distance purchase and get their money back. That right does not apply to digital content you have already started consuming — so when you buy points or a subscription and immediately use the AI, you are agreeing to start straight away and giving up the cancellation right for what you have used. We ask for that agreement at checkout rather than burying it here.

Points you have not spent, and a subscription period you have not used any AI in, are refundable within that window. Ask us by email and we will process it back through the original payment method.

If we get the billing wrong, we will fix it and refund the difference. That is not conditional on any window.

We add things, we remove things, and some features arrive rough. Where something is experimental we label it.

If we retire a feature you are relying on, we will give you notice and a way to get your work out. Export exists for exactly this reason: your scripts leave in Final Draft, Fountain, PDF and several other formats, and you can take them whenever you like.

We aim to keep the service available but we do not promise uninterrupted uptime. Maintenance happens.

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from your account settings. What that removes is set out in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that is breaking the rules above, being used to attack the service, or being used fraudulently. Except where the abuse is ongoing or we are required to act immediately, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

If we close your account for something you did not do, we will restore it and refund any unused balance.

The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will fit a particular production, that AI output will be usable, or that it will never lose a keystroke.

Keep your own copies of work that matters. Export is one click and it is the only backup that is entirely in your hands.

Where the law allows us to limit our liability, we limit it to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem. We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit us to exclude.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights your local consumer law gives you.

If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will tell you before it takes effect — by email or in the product, not by quietly editing this page.

The date at the top always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it; if you do not, you can close your account and ask for a refund of anything unused.

These terms are governed by the law of Taiwan, and Taiwan Taipei District Court is the court of first instance for anything we cannot resolve between us.
